Sarracenia hybrids

When we cross two plants from different Sarracenia species we can create hybrids that do not occur in the wild, and that is the case when we cross Sarracenia alata with flava, sometimes referred to as Sarracenia x soperi. Sarracenia species can only produce natural hybrids if they grow in the same area and flower at the same time, this is not the case with alata and flava.
