In the morning Frankie went into the town to arrange for the toymaker to make a gift for every child in the town.
“Goot mornink, Heir Klaus, I haf zee big job for you. I vant you to make zee toy for each child in zee town, und deliver zem all for Chrristmas mornink.”
“Zat iz zee big job, Baron von Stein. I vont know how much zis cost until after I finish zis, how vill I be paid for zis verk?”
“Do not vorry Heir Klaus, I vill not vun avay. I come szee you on Boxing Day, you vill haf zee final bill for me, und I pay you for all zis.”
Two weeks later, on Christmas Eve morning, they were awoken by the sound of the doorbell.
"Who can zat be?" Frankie wondered aloud.

"You all haf a goot day now," The postman replied as he left.
Frankie fetched the frozen Junior from the glacier to thaw him out.
"He vill be thawed out tomorrow, on Christmas Day, zen I vill operrate strrraight avay in zee mornink. Helga, ve vill haf our son on Chrristmas Day."
Christmas morning, after breakfast, Frankie started the operation, in a matter of minutes, the eye patch, hook hand, and wooden leg, were all in place.

Junior sat up on the operating table and spoke his first words, "Mudder, Fadder."
